This week, the review of the vote of no-confidence against Barcelona Chairman Bartomeu continues. According to the "Daily Sports Daily" report, as of the afternoon of October 3, the review team has confirmed 11,503 valid votes.
As of 2 pm on October 3, local time (20 pm on the 3rd, Beijing time), the club has collected a total of 20,687 votes, of which 11,503 valid votes, 554 invalid votes, and 7,823 votes are still pending review.
At this point, the review committee's work this week has come to an end, and they will continue the follow-up vote review next Monday (October 5) local time.
As long as the total number of valid votes reaches 16,520, Barcelona can initiate impeachment proceedings against Bartomeu. This means that if the impeachment process is to be initiated, at least 5017 valid votes must be included in the remaining 7,823 votes.
If the final result meets the impeachment conditions, Bartomeu may also choose to voluntarily resign to avoid becoming the first high-level impeachment in the club's history.
